Classroom Rules/Guidelines

1.  Respect everyone: your teachers, classmates, and all school staff members.

2.  Don’t talk when I am talking; don’t talk when your classmates are speaking.  There is a time for talking, and I’ll let you know when that is.

3.  Don’t call out.  Raise your hand when you want to speak.

4.  Be inside the classroom when the bell rings.  If you’re late, there will be consequences.

5.  Cell phones are not allowed to be used in this classroom unless otherwise instructed.

6.  Don’t talk back in front of the whole class.  If you have an issue you need to discuss, notify me and we’ll talk about it privately.

7.  If you’re unsure of something, don’t be afraid to ask a question.

8.  Be honest; telling the truth is always the best policy.

9.  Always give a sincere effort.

10. No gum chewing is allowed in this classroom; no phones in class (must be in locker or turned off in book bag).

Classroom Necessities

1.  Always have a writing utensil; it can be either a pen(not red) or a pencil.

2.  Always have a book to read; nooks and kindles are allowed.

3.  Always have your laptop; charge your laptop every night.

4.  If you want, you can have a notebook/folder for class, but it is not mandatory.

5.  The textbooks won’t be needed outside of the classroom unless otherwise notified.

6.  Always have your agenda book; you need it to leave the room.
